Last wedding I attended was in the same week I went to 2 funerals. (almost like the movie!) The funerals - not jw - way out-classed the wedding. The funerals were happy and feel good - they were old - A celebration of their life. The wedding was sombre in comparison.
The reception.
I was seated at a table of "politely invited but off-limits" people. One of the ushers from the wedding party gave a speech, obviously ad-libbing and happened to use the word love about 3 times. It was the first time I had "felt" it or remembered hearing it all day (in relation to the couple as opposed to kingdom work). I met him later, at the "pop" bar, and congratulated him on his speech for the reasons stated above and thanked him, he looked like he was hoping no one else had noticed and apologized, or maybe didn't want to be caught talking with me. Oh, and there were lots of pagan things around, bridesmaids, groomsmen, rings, cake, favours etc.

I got an Invite to a DUB Wedding!!!!!!!
by lydia inwell,,,,, not really - but the letter came addressed to my husband - my name is listed on the inside card.
its for my x-husbands nephew.. i think i might go to the reception (and only the reception - i am not steping foot in a hall if i can help it!!!!
)- just to see the looks on the faces of those there - but more so for my nephew's sake.

sorry, I'm not allowed to have one anymore because I kept printing out stuff that made them uncomfortable to read & I was accused of FORGERY!
Who is the editor anyway? Would've been the perfect opportunity to easily change the history books. They could put an expiration date so that it won't work after the computer reaches a certain date then everyone would have to buy a new one.
Hope I haven't given them any ideas. If so, please delete this post.

Isn't this the whole reason for becoming a witness dedicated to the organization in brooklyn?
The grand purpose was to have the garden of eden upon the whole earth forever and they are the ones that offer this? (Psalm 37:29 and that 1 line in Peter)Did God know that Adam and Eve would sin? Was the entire history of mankind devised the instant the original sin was committed? Sort of plan B scenario?

What is God?
by mindfield ini have yet to find a personal set of beliefs that will satisfy my mind, but one thing i am starting to get sure of is that there exists no "christian" god.
the reasons for that belief aren't many, but proof that god exists isn't that plentiful either.
i use the bible as proof god doesn't exist as it depicts it... others use it to prove he does, in fact, exist.

I think all religions could also find same good in the koran, a book of zen, and confusious as well as dare I say WT, and all agree.
Where they loose it is when they decide that they are the only ones that practice good will BECAUSE of A,B & C rule or reason, so that the ones leading the good clean life for D,E & F are wrong so their good life does not count.
And if you look further into all these religions you quickly find the ones who discount the others.
